- 1 onion (diced)
- 3 cloves of garlic (minced)
- 1 red bell pepper (sliced thinly)
- 1 green bell pepper (sliced thinly)
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon of chili paste
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- A pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons of cooking oil
- Some chopped scallions for garnish
Instructions:
Let's get cooking:
- First, soak the Bihun in warm water for around 10 minutes or until they become soft. Drain off the water and set aside.
- Heat the cooking oil in a wok or frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the diced onions and minced garlic to the pan and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until the onions become translucent.
- Add the sliced red and green bell peppers to the pan and stir-fry for around 2-3 minutes until they become slightly soft.
- Add the soaked Bihun to the pan and stir-fry for around 3-4 minutes until they are fully cooked.
- Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili paste, sugar, and salt to the pan and stir-fry for around 2-3 minutes until everything is well mixed.
- Turn off the heat and transfer the Bihun to a serving plate.
- Garnish with some chopped scallions and serve hot!
